Alluvial Farm & VineyardS
Our farm sits on the West Edge of the Great Plains, rooted near the banks of the Poudre River—whose headwaters flow from the remnants of ancient volcanoes. And when glaciers began carving, the Poudre River flowed carrying rich sediment through valleys, canyons, and on into the plains. From mountain cirques to the terroir of our vineyard, we harvest each cluster of grapes with a spirit of gratitude. Gratitude for glaciers and rivers. For soil and roots. For time. For friends and family. For translucent fruit.
Wine
Embracing the unique climate of Colorado, we use cold hardy grapes that thrive in these extraordinary conditions, resulting in unparalleled wines.
Flowers
Looking for fresh floral arrangements for your home or event? We grow all our flowers on-site and have many varieties to choose from!
COLD HARDY GRAPES
We only work with cold hardy grapes grown on our farm or selectively gathered from the Western Slopes of the Rockies—a place also enriched by alluvial sediments.
What drives us?
The ambition to capture the full essense of cold hardy grapes through rhythmic and natural vintning. Snowmelt in spring fills the river. Summer storms bring rain. In autumn, everything glows. Through it all, sheep, kunekune pigs, and chickens roam our vineyard at well-timed intervals. After harvest, we allow whole cluster spontaneous fermentation to do its work with zero manipulations, sulfites, or filtering. From soil to vine—and barrel to bottle—nothing unnatural hinders the depth of what a palate can taste from alluvial-grown, cold hardy grapes.

Grant Everitt
Winemaker and Farmer
Northern Colorado has been my home for over forty years. I grew up fishing the Poudre River, climbing near Horsetooth Reservoir, and skiing in the Rockies. A few years ago my attention turned to grapes, wine and wine-making. Having visited and toured wineries in California, France, Italy, and the Western Slopes of Colorado, my wife and I began to envision how a vineyard could flourish in the place we call home—Northern Colorado. Since 2018, we have planted over 10 different cold-hardy and French-American hybrid grape varietals to see what grapes are best adapted to our climate. We have embarked on a journey to create exceptional natural wines in Colorado. We have a commitment to produce natural wines that are a true reflection of the vineyards they come from and to be a lifelong learner of natural wine-making. With minimal intervention I believe in the old French saying “have the courage to do nothing”.
